Navigation
Menus, controls, links, hidden interactions, focus order, and visible focus states.
The Lantern is being built so that its atmosphere does not become a barrier. Mystery should come from the world—not from navigation that cannot be used, text that cannot be read, or motion that cannot be stopped.
This staging site is still undergoing responsive and accessibility review before public launch.
Our target is a site that works with keyboard navigation, screen readers, zoomed text, smaller displays, and reduced-motion preferences, while retaining the visual identity of The Lantern.
Current components already include reduced-motion handling in major animated areas and a keyboard-aware mobile navigation. A full page-by-page audit is scheduled before launch, so this page deliberately does not claim completed conformance yet.
Menus, controls, links, hidden interactions, focus order, and visible focus states.
Contrast, line length, font sizing, zoom behavior, headings, and meaningful alternative text.
Reduced-motion preferences and avoiding movement that is required to understand the page.
Phone, tablet, landscape, touch targets, reflow, and content remaining reachable without horizontal traps.
If something on the site is difficult or impossible to use, we want to know. Describe the page, device or assistive technology if you are comfortable doing so; you do not need to disclose a disability.
“The map serves the traveler. Never the other way around.”
That principle applies to the website too.
